ACT is a great site with information on ACT News, Active PREP, ACT Research, and applying to colleges. Register and take the exam on-line to gain access to this informative site.
California State University EPT & ELM
This address connects you to the CSU EPT (English Placement Test) and ELM (entry level Math test) Information Bulletin on the Web. It provides general information about registration, FAQ's, scores and preparing to go to the test center; it also gives test dates and details who must take these two tests. Also provided is a downloadable PDF file to print the Bulletin as a booklet.

At the College Board planning page you will find Action Plans for high school students with the ability to create a personalized planner to stay current.
College Board SAT Prep
College Board offers valuable information about the SAT test, along with information and tools that students and parents can use to plan for the transition from high school to college. On this page you will find SAT test dates, sample questions, online registration, preparation tips, and more.

A great resource for parents, students and teachers including topics such as “Preparing for College”, “Choosing the Right College” and includes recommended books., web sites and brochures. Some guides are in Spanish.
CSU Mentor
Everything you need to know about the CSU system. Includes access to enrollment info and forms, campus life, links to the home page for each CSU, financial aide info, majors, etc.
The College View Search Page
This site contains information about 3,000 colleges with the unique feature of providing virtual tours. In addition, it offers students the ability to apply on-line, conduct scholarship searches, and provides financial aid secrets. The downside to this site is the time it takes to maneuver around the site - it is slow! It may not work to use this site during class.
The Princeton Review Test Prep Page
Princeton review offers free access to test prep materials, website admission tools and resources. Registration on the site will provide a gateway of test preparation resources.

An excellent site providing “preparing for college” information for parents, teachers and middle school through adult learners.
University of California Pathways
Everything you need to know about the University of California including admission policies, enrollment forms and information, links to the home page of each campus, financing, campus life, sports, etc.
US News College Search
This site also allows students to do customized searches but only has a directory of 1400 colleges. The additional information about the various lists of "Best Colleges" that US News compiles annually is quality information that helps students analyze their colleges of choice. Students also can save their searches.

California Student Aid Commission
Good site for locating and getting information on how to complete the (FAFSA) Free Application for Federal Student Aid, how to avoid common errors. It also lists the Title V school codes. A special section is dedicated to getting an “estimate of financial aid” by entering different scenarios along with tips on how to legally maximize your eligibility.
College Board
This web-site contains resources for students and parents. This site is user friendly and answers questions about financial aid, student loans, and scholarships. Students can also do a scholarship search.
College Parents of America
Good information for parents helping their children learn how to take care of their finances while in college.
FINAID
Provides information on all types of aid: loans, scholarships, grants, military aid, plus information on “demystifying” forms and instructions. Recommend this site for high school students.
Scholarships.com
This web-site allows you to conduct a free college scholarship search. A student can enter their profile and scholarships.com will compare them to their database of scholarships. This site also has information about loans and financial aid.
TERI
This site provides lots of information on many different loans, but what is noteworthy is that it is aimed at middle-income families and loans are based on “credit-worthiness” not just need.
