September 18, 2012: Overview of Common Core (optional for those who attended Spring overviews & available for all textbook adoptions)**
September 25, 2012: Common Core Standards for ELA & Math (new content)**
October 2, 2012: Common Core Instructional Strategies for ELA & Math (new content)**
This series covers instructional alignment of Common Core to Treasures ELA Curriculum. Teachers will walk through a process to analyze the alignment of Treasures ELA curriculum to the Common Core. Time will be spent identifying the alignment in the instructional design, and identifying the gaps or mismatches that might exist.
If you are unable to attend any of the above trainings, please cancel your registration by emailing Miranda Hanger at least 7 days prior to the training date or your district will be subject to a $30 cancellation fee.
