Business Workshop

Would you like a "Child Care Business Workshop" for your county? This workshop will focus on licensing requirements, business plan development, marketing, critical risks, and a simple set of business forms for a family child care business.

Funding and Development & Management Series

This is a 3-part series presented in a logical, understandable and interactive format by the Northeast Regional Resource Center and Center For Non Profit Resources that will provide information on developing a funding plan for the sustainability of your non profit organization or agency.

Part 1: Developing a Healthy Plan includes discussion on elements of a healthy fundraising program, how grants fit into a complete fundraising strategy, and specific components needed in writing a foundation grant proposal.

Part 2: Managing the Grants: So you got the grant…now what? This workshop discuses record keeping for grants and includes ideas and suggestions on policies and procedures, managing grant monies, and grant reporting.

Part 3: Researching Funding Sources: An in-depth look into funding research. Participants will learn the fine points of research methodology and become familiar with resources such as computer databases, written databases, written directories, periodicals, 990PF’s, annual reports and other information vital to the research process.
