Substitute Aide Proficiency Test

The Aide Proficiency Test is required for teacher's aides/paraprofessionals, including substitute aides. The test consists of: a basic knowledge test covering Math (decimals, fractions, percentages), Reading and Language (sentence structure, punctuation, vocabulary, spelling, etc.). Each section must be passed with a score of at least 70 percent.

The test is not timed, but does take approximately one and a half hours. Test results are mailed directly to the individual within 10 days.

Reservations are required as seating is limited.
