CUPCCAA Information

The Shasta County Office of Education (SCOE) has elected to become subject to the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA).  Each year SCOE invites licensed contractors to submit their company for inclusion on the SCOE’s Informal Bidding Contractor List for all trades, under the limits established in Public Contract Codes 22032 and using the procedures established in sections 22032-22045.  SCOE will create and maintain a list of registered contractors for CUPCCAA projects for each year.

Interested parties are invited to register with SCOE to be a part of the Informal Bidding Contractor List by filling out an online application.

This registration process is for the purpose of being notified of construction related bid opportunities according to your license classification.  SCOE may also announce project opportunities in designated trade journals.  The registration process is not a prequalification process.

Additionally, pursuant to SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) per California Labor Code section 1725.5.
