Our science programs offer many options. Teachers can participate in professional learning experiences at our site or at their schools. Our science PL ranges from traditional science-focused workshops to interdisciplinary blends with language arts or as part of STEM. Our nature/SEL workshop has been quite popular.

We also offer student services through the Whiskeytown Environmental School (K-8 half-day field trips) and Schreder Planetarium. Both programs emphasize learning that supports the state standards while offering engaging, memorable experiences like wading in Clear Creek at WES or being immersed in a fulldome show and enjoying hands-on exhibits. Our science department also supports the annual STEM Career Day for 9th graders.
