Welcome to Excel Academy
This regional program provides a structured setting specifically designed to address the needs of students who require an intensive program to address emotional disabilities or serious behaviors that impede their learning. Students have the support of an onsite School Counselor, Mental Health Clinician, two behavior specialists: a School Psychologist and Behavior Consultant. The small site allows for supervision and safety while allowing the least restrictive environment. School assemblies provide for student recognition and parental involvement is encouraged. The program hosts two six-week sessions involving parents who want to connect with others about strategies to engage students in positive home and school interactions. Our program provides many opportunities for families to engage in their student's education. Parents are invited to attend field trips, award assemblies, the Thanksgiving Feast and to visit classrooms.
Excel Academy provides a safe and supportive environment where students develop effective academic and behavioral skills. Students are empowered to achieve their full potential through inter-agency partnerships and collaboration with families.
