Fall 2026 CALPADS Roadshow

Overview:  

The California Department of Education, Special Education Division is pleased to announce the following in-person training in preparation for the upcoming collection of data for students with disabilities in the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS): CALPADS Special Education Data 2026-27.

This session will train local special education data coordinators and Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA)-level staff on the updates and changes for the CALPADS Fall 1 Submission as well as other special education-related data. The training will cover:

  • What’s new for Fall 1
  • Local System Audits to Prepare for Fall 1
  • Fall 1 CALPADS Data Submission and Reports
  • Fall 1 Data and:
    • The Annual Determinations Letter (ADL)
    • State Performance Plan and Annual Performance Report Indicators
    • Statutory Meeting Timelines
  • CALPADS Monitoring Reports

SELPA staff, district and site-level special education data coordinators, and CALPADS local educational agency (LEA) administrators are welcome to attend.
