The Shasta County County Office of Education does not have the authority or resources to collect and/or store transcripts and other school records for all San Diego County public, private, and charter schools.

Per Shasta County Office of Education District Policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.

NOTE: To obtain a transcript from a California school, an individual must contact the school directly.  If the school has closed, we suggest contacting the local school district associated with that school.
