    Shasta County, a region full of natural resources, none as important as our children. In the north state we take our education seriously; constantly striving to develop lifelong learners by ensuring access to quality education; teaching every child every day so that they can succeed in tomorrow’s world.

    Our County's commitment is embodied by the Shasta Promise: Every student in Shasta County will graduate prepared for education beyond high school. Those students who complete minimum college preparatory or community college transfer requirements will receive guaranteed admission from all of the participating institutions of higher education.

      Ensure Shasta County students receive a quality education preparing them for high school graduation and success in career and college.
    • Schreder Planetarium
      Participants are transported through the solar system to far away galaxies. Engaging programs blend science, technology, engineering, mathematics and imagination.

We also provide Preliminary and Clear Administrative Services credentials, leadership development and technical services to local schools and School Leadership Teams.

      Supporting alternative education; special education; foster and homeless youth; after school; supplemental tutoring; and School Attendance Review Boards.
