2026 Teacher of the Year Nomination Form

To nominate a teacher from your district, please submit the completed nomination form (linked above), a one-page nomination statement from the nominee's administrator, and two one-page letters of recognition to the Shasta County Office of Education by April 24, 2025. A committee of SCOE Board Member(s) and local administrators will review all submissions. Site visits will be conducted in May for the three finalists in each category.

Teachers of the Year 2025

The California Teachers of the Year Program celebrates the steadfast efforts of outstanding teachers by honoring them for their accomplishments, dedication, and professional growth, while meeting the challenge and complexity of evolving educational needs. SCOE supports this program with a county Teachers of the Year selection, lauding the efforts of local teachers for a job well done.
