A Message From the Superintendent

On behalf of the 400+ employees at SCOE, thank you for your interest in education. Shasta County is home to more than 37,000 children, from infants to high school seniors, and every one of them matters. Our schools are filled with caring, committed staff who partner with families to help students succeed. Whether in classrooms, on buses, playgrounds, cafeterias, or boardrooms, educators across our county step up every day to create opportunities for kids.

At SCOE, we strive to lead with excellence, supporting schools and communities so every student graduates prepared for college, career, and life. We take this responsibility seriously, aligning our actions with our core values and unlocking our greatest strength—working together to make a difference.

Partnership is essential. If you have ideas, feedback, or want to join in the work of supporting Shasta County students, I invite you to connect. Let’s make the 37,000 children of Shasta County our shared agenda. Together, we can make incredible things happen for kids.
