Shasta County Schools

Shasta County's schools are as unique as the students they serve. With 25 school districts throughout our approximate 3,800 square miles, our children are educated within traditional elementary, junior high, and high schools, as well as public charter schools and private schools.

The school districts operate in collaboration with the goal of educating each and every student to the best of our ability.

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.Martin Luther King Jr.
